Victoria Razo is a freelance photographer based in Veracruz, Mexico. Her vision focuses on issues of Human Rights, gender, environmental disasters and migration, currently she works as a photojournalist collaborating with Agence France-Presse. Her photographs have been published in international media such as The Washington Post, NPR, TIME, The Guardian, The New York Times, El País, Vice News, and others.
Winner of the First Place 2020 and 2018 in the CEAPP Veracruz Research Journalism Award. In 2017 project awarded the First Place in the Gabriel García Márquez Award in the image category with the collective project “Buscadores en un país de desaparecidos” coordinated by Periodistas de a Pie and selected in the top 100 of the best photographs of the year 2018 according to TIME magazine.
