Victoria Razo is a freelance photographer based in the city of Veracruz, Mexico. Her vision focuses on issues of Human Rights, gender, environmental disasters and migration, currently she works as an photojournalist collaborating with Agence France-Presse.
Her photographs have been published in national and international media such as NPR, The Washington Post, The Guardian, The New York Times, El País, Vice News, La Jornada, and others.
Winner of the First Place in the CEAPP Veracruz 2018 Research Journalism Award in the Photography category with the "Viacrucis Migrante" In 2017 project awarded the First Place in the Gabriel García Márquez Award in the image category with the collective project “Buscadores en un país de desaparecidos” coordinated by Periodistas de a Pie and selected in the top 100 of the best photographs of the year 2018 according to TIME magazine.
